Bellas and Cake!

I just love my bella stamps. I hadn't used this one before but couldn't resist the shopping bellas!
I used my border punch for the Sketch Saturday sketch. The papers are basic grey and the image is coloured with watercolours and pro markets. Don't they look like they've had a great shop!

Friday Sketchers had this lovely sketch so I put together this little mouse with a mix of basic grey papers and made the flower. The image is coloured with pro markers.

Have a happy weekend all

Lovely cards Fiona, love the papers, Henry is sooo cute! I just want to eat that cake!
You asked me about my flowers on a recent card on my blog and you are right I do make them. I have a template that I made for the petals and then the long thin petals are actually a woodware punch.
But I think the main trick is to use an embossing tool on a soft mat (foam or the underside of a mouse mat) to add dimension to the paper. Use little circular motions on the underside of the petals and then flip the flower over and rub circles into the centre, finish by using your fingers to gently squeeze the petals around the centre.
Does that make sense? Probably not! LOL! I shall try to put a tutorial up on my blog with piccies - might make it easier!
Have a lovely day.
